The issue: The Fitch Manufacturing Workers’ Compensation policy was confusing to read.

My role: Content designer and user researcher.

The process: I conducted virtual usability tests to learn how readers of different ages and educational backgrounds completed tasks related to the workers’ compensation policy. Based on the readers’ abilities to quickly and accurately complete tasks, I made and tested two more iterations of the policy.

The end result: I recommended a full redesign that utilized headings, color, and other visual elements to support an increase in user comprehension. Read my full report and recommendations.
